Working Principle

1. Outdoor Antenna: The process begins with the outdoor antenna, which is mounted outside the building or vehicle where the signal is typically stronger. The outdoor antenna captures the strong incoming mobile signal from nearby cell towers. It acts as a receiver, collecting the existing signals that may be hindered by obstacles like distance, terrain, or building materials.
2. Repeater: The captured signal is then sent to the repeater. The repeater is responsible for boosting the received signal's strength. It increases the power level of the signal without distorting it. The repeater's gain, measured in decibels (dB), determines how much the signal is amplified.
3. Indoor Antenna: After amplification, the enhanced signal is transmitted to the indoor antenna. The indoor antenna is placed inside the building or vehicle where the signal is required to be improved. The indoor antenna broadcasts the boosted signal across the designated area, effectively extending the mobile coverage.
