Olenegorsk - a city (since 1957) in the Murmansk region of Russia. Located 94 km south of Murmansk.
Olegororsky mining and processing plant ("Olkon") - the northernmost manufacturer
of iron ore raw materials in Russia. Olenegorsky GOK became the first enterprise in Russia,
on which on an industrial scale in the early 1950s the technology of deep enrichment of poor iron ores was mastered.
By 2001, the OLKON control package acquired "Severstal".
