Irene Isler - A native of the upper peninsula, Irene Isler combines her knowledge of the Michigan wilderness with her natural artistic talents to capture the quiet beauty of familiar landscapes. A student of Marygrove College and extensive private instruction, she strives for the unusual in landscape color and perspective. As a result her paintings are included in private collections throughout the United States and Canada. An artist for more than twenty years, her work has been exclusively displayed by the Frankenmuth Gallery since her association as resident artist in July of 1970.
