FUEL GAUGE MODEL- suits grey dash includes ------3 x clear lenses---- + 4 Stainless screws for dash.
- Don't buy these lenses unless you have a dremel type tool and patients.
- Not much skill required- just pliers and dremel - neutral cure silicone. There is no glue for acrylic to ABS that would be practical.
- Lenses are 4.5mm thick to cover the 'cut out' edges of old lenses.
- Lenses have a 2mm wide flange to overlay from the top.
- Lenses have a 1.5mm thick top layer-----SO THEY SIT UP PROUD by 1.5mm - NOT FLUSH as in the original.
- The lenses have been made this way as somehow Suzuki managed to rebate persex lenses inside an ABS extrusion? -several scenarios were made and found this method was the simple with little chance of damage. You get used to it after install.
- The edges look opaque due to CNC routering- but when the lens is siliconed down - (see pic with green tape)- they darken)
- Edges can be beveled - (H) arristed by scraping a small rule backwards on a 45 deg. angle.
- Detailed instructions provided.
- Made by a very talented workshop in Sydney with laser and CNC cutters and were time consuming to produce.
