This is an original vintage lens made in the former Soviet Union ( USSR ). Jupiter-21M has nice background blur and excellent sharpness starting from the widest aperture. Easily mounts on modern DSLR and mirrorless cameras.

The focusing ring of Jupiter-21M 4/200 is very smooth, rotates approximately 270 degrees, while the front lens does not rotate, and the lens trunk is noticeably lengthened. When focusing, the entire lens unit moves. The minimum focusing distance is 1.8m. Jupiter-21M has a built-in retractable hood, the hood is metallic and short. The diameter of the lens hood is 67mm, and the diameter of the front filter is 58mm. Jupiter-21M has an automatic blinking aperture. The lens has a special ring that can be used to switch to manual 'M' or automatic 'A' aperture control. Jupiter-21M 4/200 is an excellent lens, it gives a very nice drawing, good image quality.

Optical element (glass) in excellent condition, clean and transparent. The blades of the diaphragm are clean and free of oil (this is very important for proper operation). The focus and aperture control ring rotates smoothly. There are no signs of oxidation on the body. The lens body is in very good condition, there are no signs of oxidation, this lens will be in excellent condition for many years.
