Highlights:

*** “Arkansas’s longest Dump” by Elwin Goolsby. Probably the longest dump in Arkansas is virtually unknown except a small group of relic hunters. this is hard to believe when you realize that the dump itself is over 100 miles long stretching Southwest Northeast across the Southwest and central portion to the state. The dump is well over 100 years old and is not over 12 feet wide at most but the dump is actually along a pioneer military Road stretching from Camden Arkansas to the capital city of Little Rock Arkansas. On either side and even in the road bed itself are buried literally thousands of Civil War vintage Relics.. Just exactly how the relics got there is a story in itself. Union General Frederick Steele in 1863 captured the Confederate city of Little Rock and proceeded in 1864 with a planned invasion of the state of Texas, further south.
