Maybe your best soda pop bottles made it into this early piece on sodas?


CONDITION: Very Good. Clean old subscription magazine, no writing, very little wear, all pages present and well attached.


The “Pops are Tops” authors suggest soda pop bottles from first half of the 20th century form an interesting collector area, lively and affordable.


Photographed examples include:

Valley Root Beer was put out by the El Dorado brewery of Stockton California and is one of those rare local bottles ( circa 1918) which commands a high price;

Next to the Valley is Cowboy Soda, a short-lived product of the 1940s.

Another photo in this layout shows three nostalgia pops from the 20s and 30s: Yankee Doodle Root Beer, a 1936 Royal Crown Cola in the middle, and Whistle on the right.

Good Guy sodas made by Kalil of Arizona Have become popular collectibles across the country “due to their comic character appeal.”
