On his first trip to Poland in 1979, Pope John Paul II visited the shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. He said, “The call of a son of Poland to the Cathedral of St. Peter contains an evident and strong link with this holy place, with this Shrine of great hope: Totus tuus (“I am all yours”), I had whispered in prayer so many times before this Image” (June 4, 1979).

N. 2 Holy Family's Little Sisters

The Institute of the Little Sisters of the Holy Family was founded in Castelletto di Brenzone sul Garda (Verona) on 6 November 1892, by the priest and parish priest Don Giuseppe Nascimbeni, with the collaboration of Mother Maria Domenica Mantovani. Nascimbeni wanted the nuns to help him in parish pastoral care and to collaborate with families in the education of their children and in the assistance of the elderly and sick.
“Let them always be called Little Sisters of the Holy Family” (the Founder - Don Giuseppe Nascimbeni).
