This auction is for an Antique Starch Blue Pattern Glass Covered Sugar Bowl, c. 1840 - 1860.  This is a very fine heavy starch blue flint glass covered sugar bowl.  This pattern has a raised diamond shape design to the sides of both the cover and base.  The lid has an acorn shaped finial.  This is a heavy piece of flint glass that rings well when dinged with a finger.  This has a price sticker on it with a price of $175!

CONDITION: The condition is very good with the scalloped rim smoothed to remove nicks and flea bites to the glass.
