Number 248 of a limited edition of 325 on Japanese vellum signed by Rackham. Tipped in coloured frontispiece within coloured pictorial border, title also with coloured pictorial border, silhouette plates and illustrations, 7 of the plates with colour. Includes the additional coloured plate not present in the trade edition. Pictorial green endpapers. 4to (11 5/8 x 9 1/8 inches), 110-pages. Original vellum-backed parchment boards blocked in gilt, top edge gilt. The binding unfortunately with soiling & dust-marking, surface lifting on upper cover, scuffing to lower, headbands worn. However internally very clean. Worthy of a fine rebind and generously priced to allow for this.
