Vintage heavy-weight WOOLRICH shirt-jacket, probably from the 70's or before. In very good "used" condition - no tears or wear spots, stains or moth holes. All stitching is good and all buttons are strong and well attached and it closes with the five buttons only, no metal zipper to break or lose teeth or feel cold in freezing weather. I am  5'-11 and about 190 lbs. and typically wear a size 44 coat and the tags say it is a LARGE and "Style 23001",  with two top-flapped button pockets and two nicely placed slash hand-warmer pockets, all in good condition.  Material is heavy single-layer wool - tag says 90% wool, 10% nylon, it is un-lined and no nylon lining at the collar either, making it feel very warm on your neck in cold windy snowy conditions. I've owned it for 30+ years and I got it from an older neighbor, ... it has seen many hours of hiking in our local mountains in snow and rain and has always been warm and turned the snow and rain effectively. I always enjoyed wearing it ... until I got too "round" for it to fit comfortably over other outdoor cold-weather shirts underneath!  :)   Color is predominantly red plaid but it is not the typical "Buffalo plaid" so often seen. It is more of a Scottish tartan look with its dark green plaids and lines thrown in, I think a very pleasing color, and it blends and hides well in our local conifer forests. If you look closely at the pictures you will see that there is some "napping" or fuzzing of the outer layer of wool cloth  from many years of wear so it does have the "used" look of old wool - compare the last picture of both the outside and inside cloth of the jacket. I love wool clothing and have many years of enjoyment with this jacket but I have now replaced it with another larger wool jacket as I have grown in both years and girth.
