A charming illustrated story book from the 1920's, which has been well loved. The boards are very grubby with heavy edge wear and some surface creasing. Most of the pages have tears along the bottom edge, these were originally repaired with sellotape which has left brown marks under the more recently applied archive tape. The title page and rear endpaper are browned, some of the pages have brown and / or grubby marks. The binding is a little shaken, but there are no loose pages. The actual images are clean and very attractive.
