This 1930s Craftsman hatchet is beautifully remastered.  The head underwent 9 stages of polishing to a mirror shine.  The handle is not original but a nice replacement 14"hickory handle that was sanded to 280 grit, lightly torched to bring out the grain, oiled with boiled linseed oil, stained with Early American stain, topped off with tung oil and a replica Craftsman decal correct to the time frame.
