VTG Pair Heavily Machine Embroidered ‘Flower Basket’ Cotton Tablecloths

Excellent, laundered and ironed condition. No faults. Ready to use.

Heavily machine embroidered cotton tablecloth with drawn work.

Pattern is a large multicoloured rose and other flowers & leaves inside a long- handled basket , 4 of these form a square in the centre with space in between, basket handles are thread thru an embroidered pink (the other is blue) circle decorated with white flowers and leaves .

The same pattern for both , colour of flowers and circle are different.

This centre pattern is bordered by hand drawn edging and connects to embroidered pieces to form the outer part of the tablecloth .

The embroidered outside pieces have squares in the corners (x4) and a long rectangle in between the squares .

The squares are embroidered with blue and white flowers with green leaves and the rectangle-

Pink and white flowers with green leaves. Each piece is joined by drawn work edging .

The edging is machine hemmed in blue thread.

Colour of cotton background is very pale yellow.

Measures 116x123cm.
