These Style Saleen Owners Jackets are rarely offered anywhere, especially on here. They usually change hands privately and never are offered on the internet like this! So now anyone has a chance at this one!

What we have offered here is One Very Rare Now, No Longer Produced and Hard to Acquire Original Saleen Owners Jacket (Style Auto) Men's Size Extra-Large XL Embroidered Jacket in Excellent Gently Used Condition.

This Original Gray with Black Accents and Red Piping Saleen Owners Jacket was acquired back in 1989, 34 years ago. This Saleen Owners Jacket was gently worn in the past, but is in Excellent used condition with no rips, tares, stains and or foul odors and has always been stored in a smoke free environment. Back in the late 1980's the Original Men's size XL Saleen Apparel Shirts and Jackets really interested us because they were the sizes my father and I would fit into so naturally they were sizes we really sought after and or coveted! This Saleen Owners Jacket has been part of our Private Collection since 1989, for many years.

So for those of you out there that need a Basic History Lesson on the Saleen Owners Jackets that were offered with the Purchase of a New Saleen Mustang and or First time buyer of those Saleen Mustang Vehicles of the past, here are a few details to get you up to speed and or refresh that memory. 

During the years of the Saleen Foxbody Mustangs being offered for sale, there were a bunch of different style/variations/colorations of Saleen Owners Jackets that were offered with the purchase of a New Saleen Mustang vehicle. Most of the time with that New purchase of that Awesome Saleen Racecraft ride, the Saleen Owners Jacket was sent out from Saleen to the dealership and then dealership either sent the jacket out to it's buyer of that car or called the first time owners to come in and pick up there Saleen Owners Jacket. In a few cases, we have even heard from original owners who had gotten the Saleen Owners Jacket directly from Saleen and or Saleen sometimes mailed them to the first time buyers. Some dealerships mailed them also to the New Owners. All these details here are from us compiling information from the dealings of getting the different year style/variations/colorations of Saleen owners Jackets that were offered from 1985 through 1998. We Own all the different year ones that were offered in the past including the early prototype ones all in our SaleenDream Private Vault Collection. 

If you are a long time Saleen fan, owner and or collector then you most likely remember the other style Saleen Owners Jackets that were mainly Red & White with Black Trim in coloration. Those type of Saleen Owners Jackets from the past, yes they were the most commonly offered one, but you also have to remember that style of Saleen Owners Jacket could be purchased through Saleen also. This Type/Style/Variation/Coloration one, could NEVER be purchased through Saleen, you had to buy a New Saleen Mustang specifically from the years late 1988 through 1991 to get something like this type of one!  Obviously we can keep going on and on, about the jacket here since we have taken pride in collecting stuff like this and keeping history's intact on stuff. So enough said here about the different year Saleen Owners Jackets. If you have more questions though feel free to ask. 

This Saleen Owners Jacket is a Men's size Extra-Large (XL) features a Gray Base coloration with Black accents & Red Piping Trim for that Sporty and Race Inspired look (which was what was the trend and in back in the 1980's/1990's). This Men's Size XL was and has always been the size that has been the most sought after and will definitely catch the attention of some Saleen guys out there!

This Saleen Owners Jacket features a Zip-Up Front, SALEEN MUSTANG Embroidered on the upper left side of the chest, lower right hand and left hand side Black zippered pockets, Black zippered neck line collar which opens up to reveal a hoodie, right side of the chest small Black zippered pocket, left arm sleeve Black zippered pocket, Black elastic sleeve cuffs, Black elastic lower midline areas and has an outer shell and lining that is made up of 100% Nylon and Filler that was 100% Polyester for that comfortable fit.  

Again, this Style and type of Saleen Apparel item was not something that was ever offered for sale to the General Public. Similar types and styles of this Jacket in the mid to late 80's and up through the early 1990's these were what were in during that era and time. If you own one of those year Saleen Mustangs we mentioned above and don't have something like this with your collectible car, then this will be something that will really interest you and the perfect keep sake apparel item with that Foxbody Saleen! 

Please remember, yes the Saleen Mustang Vehicles of the Past were limited production, not a lot were produced and now many years later still a limited amount of them out there have survived the years and can be purchased, but the numbers of available Saleen Fox Body Cars compared to something like this Original Saleen Owners Jacket like this, well not many left out there especially in Men's Size XL and in  Excellent Gently Used Condition.  

This Original Saleen Owners Jacket Apparel item, Comes from a Smoke free, Climate controlled storage location and again comes from 1989 originally (35 years ago). We can go into more specific details on how we acquired this actual jacket here with the purchaser if they'd like!
