Merlin Barton II Waxed Cotton Jacket

Barton II is made from vintage 12 oz. Halley Stevensons wet wax cotton and is a member of our traditional waxed cotton Heritage line. Building on the success of the first edition, Barton II features a lining with a 150-gramme thermal loft for improved performance in colder temperatures.

Along with numerous other improvements, the shoulders and elbows now come equipped with standard tri-ventilated D3O® LP1 armour. A classic look for today’s riders.

Caring for your Yoxall II Jacket

First, brush off any loose dirt or grime from your jacket, and then use a cool, damp cloth to wipe it off if necessary. Maintain its shine with regular cleanings in this manner, but avoid using harsh chemicals, as doing so will destroy the wax. As the jacket loses its waxed shine and water soaks into the cotton rather than beading off, you can re-wax it with our Merlin Wax Cotton Tin. This jacket cannot withstand machine washing, tumble drying, or hot water. Care instructions in their entirety can be found in our Merlin Wash & Care manual.
