How To Apply Your Press On Nails

Prep your nails with the items provided in your Nail Prep Kit.

1. Wash and dry your hands and nails.

2. Gently push back your cuticles and file down your nails.

3. Remove surface shine from your nail by lightly buffing. This will create a better grip between your press on nail and the glue.

4. Remove dust and dehydrate using the alcohol pad provided.

5. Apply a small drop of nail glue to the cuticle area of the press on nail and then make contact with the natural nail at the cuticle area first and rock down onto the rest of your nail plate. Hold in place for 15-30 seconds or until it feels secure. Applied correctly your press on nails should last last up to ten days.

6. If you would like temporary nails or to reuse them often use sticky tabs (available from Amazon) and apply them to your natural nails. Then add your press on nail starting at the cuticle and rocking it towards the free edge using enough pressure to ensure complete contact between the tab and your press on nail. Applied correctly will last up to 3 days.

7. Avoid getting your hands wet for at least an hour. The best time to apply your press on nails is before you go to bed!

How To Remove Your Press On Nails

Soak your nails in warm soapy water for 10-15 minutes. Glide your cuticle stick around the sides of your press on nails until they lift off. If they are stubborn keep soaking for a further 5 minutes. Lightly file away any remaining glue from the surface of your natural nails and the inside of your press on nails. Put them in a safe place ready to use again.

Your press on nails should last anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks. Please do not pull your nails off, even if you lose one. Soak off properly and smother in cuticle oil/hand cream.
