Delightful vintage wooden tortoise desk stapler. Probably made in Japan.

Possibly dating to the 1970s, solid carved wood, glass type eyes. 

Measures approx 5 inches long, marked on metal inside 5G17. 

In good condition with only minor wear if any, spring seems ok so should work but not tested.
