Antique Chinese Plique a Jour Cloisonne Enamel Vase Jar Rose Red Enamel & Brass

       Beautiful translucent Chinese plique a jour cloissone enamel lidded cabinet jar/vase featuring elaborate florals with birds.  The colors used are a deep red that when light hits it is translucent and glows a soft pink to red.  Florals are in green, blue and red with delicate gilt details.  Measures 6 inches in height and width is 3.5 inches.  Base measures 1 5/8 inches.  Opening of jar is 2 7/8 inches.   Condition is good.  There is one area in photo 15 that may be a flaw or slightly rubbed.  Areas at top body of vase and around rim of lid have a series of cut out variation pattern.   See photos and description for details.  Please view all the photos to appreciate this lovely plique a jour jar!
