The shade from top to bottom is approximately 8 inches; the opening at the bottom is 11" from rim to rim. The globe bulb extends below the bottom rim by about an inch.
Cord is approximately 13.5 feet long; the decorative wicker "chain" covers about 10 feet of it. Two of the blue wicker links towards the bottom of the cord have been repaired with string.
