Here is an antique & salvaged rusty bracket or tie back of some sort! I don't know what it was for originally--maybe a flag holder?
Now it could be used for that or something else altogether.
It measures 6 1/8" end to end X almost 1 3/4" wide X 2 1/4" high at the arch. The notch inside the arch measures 1" across at its widest so might not work for anything large though maybe a narrow flag pole? It could work by attaching it to a deck railing or porch--there are lots of ideas it could be used for!
CONDITION: Antique, used, primitive, rusty, no screws.
