This exquisite and very large mantel clock is a true testament to the fine craftsmanship of the finest French clock making era. Made by Roblin Paris circa 1870, it features a beautiful gilt bronze and marble case with a very fine and intricate design. The clock has an 8 day movement, with winding key and striking chimes for both the hour and half hour.

It measures approximately 20” wide , 7” deep , 17” tall and weighs well over 17Kg ! The clock is in good working condition and has been carefully maintained throughout the years. It would make a stunning addition to any room, with its unique antique character and elegant style. Condition is excellent and it comes complete with key and pendulum, it strikes as it should and keeps good time . Please remember this is around one hundred and fifty years old now though and totally original, so does have some surface dirt , tiny marks and scratches etc including tiny chips to the face and glass - see pictures.
