This set of 2 Enoch Wedgwood England coasters features a beautiful blue color with a British Colonial style. These ceramic and porcelain coasters are an original post-1940s piece, making them a great addition to any collection of decorative items. The country of origin for these coasters is the United Kingdom. They are perfect for any collector of decorative items or fans of Benjamin Franklin.

These were made in the 50's or 1960's for the Benj. Franklin Savings and Loan.  Benj. Franklin S&L was founded in Portland, Oregon in 1925.  Like many Savings and Loan companies the Benj. Franklin fell victim to the overzealous actions of the US Government in 1990 when it assets were seized.   This illegal seizure was litigated in the courts for many years with Benj. Franklin ultimately prevailing.

The company was known for its numerous promotions and give aways to promote its business and savings and investment products.  These coasters are one such example.
