Despite the description labeling The Jam ‘new wave’ they were top of mods & they’ve never sounded better than in this UK import. I really do love this collection above all their other recordings. There’s an energy here that never quite matched their in their studio albums. Especially 1979’s set at the Rainbow in London (disc 3).
