Which size do I need?
Well, that depends on the car or van you need it for. The best way to find that out is cut the old DPF open and measure the old core when its removed. The round cores are 99% of the time 15 or 22cm in length. If its longer its not a problem to replace it with a shorter one. We have round cores from 13 till 17cm in diameter, this covers 99% of all round DPF's used worldwide. They are all euro 6 ready so every core fits euro 6 and lower as long as the diameter and length is right.
Do you also provide the gasket/matt/sealant to protect and support the core?
Yes! We alway ship this together with the cores. See the picture below to see the gasket.
Whats the difference between cordierite and silica?
The pictures above here are cordierite cores, the picture below here is a silica core. The difference is that silica lasts longer, on maintenance interval but also in the lifecycle. If you plan to drive your car for longer than 10 years silica is better, if its below that cordierite will do the trick. Cordierite is 50% cheaper compared to silica. Its up to you what you want to order :-)
