OKI phones 1130E mobile phone, Still working! no Charger, Read Description

Here we have another retro/vintage phone from my collection.

Powered up with a bench power supply to show that it still works. However due to the network now being defunct there is no possible way of actually testing it. It also boots up saying "Locked" which I think may be some sort of PIN lock

The buttons still all work, the battery is most likely completely dead hence why its listed for parts or not working.

The general condition of the case is great with only a few minor scratches on it. Please study the photos carefully.

No corrosion on the battery terminals on the phone and Ii was able to power it up by connecting a 7.2v 300ma supply to these terminals.

The phone runs on the ETACS network which was taken down many years ago, however some clever people have worked out a way of making your own ETAC network using a computer and a couple of radio transmitters. If that sort of thing interests you have a look here.

If you have any questions or are looking for a different vintage mobile phone please get in touch, I have over 300 phones which I am slowly listing. Its a mammoth job which I am trying to fit in between working full time and looking after a 2 year old!
I am happy to create a specific listing for you if I have something that you want so that you can see it.  I have anything from Motorola startacs to 5110's other communicators. Sony J5, J7s. Obscure OKI, Pioneer and BT handsets from the late 80's to the late 90's.
