Lovely large vintage T G Green Cloverleaf BISCUITS storage jar from the Farm Animals series. 

A transfer-printed COCKEREL under Biscuits in black script on one side, on a cream ground. 

Solid wood lid with recessed centre and short finial handle. 

Black printed T G GREEN   CLOVERLEAF   TRADITIONAL EARTHENWARE   MADE IN ENGLAND backstamp to base. 

In good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or nibbles.  Light age-related crazing and superficial scratches to the glaze.  A tiny black fleck under the glaze near the rim, at the rear, mentioned for accuracy.  The rubber seal to the lid has become brittle and cracked through age, making the lid a looser fit.  [Replacement seals are readily available online.]  Please look at the photographs.
