This exclusive box set, released by the prestigious Empress Valley label in 1986 to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut in Japan, features a unique collection of 10 titles in original UK-cut monaural sound, now permanently preserved in a 6CD format.
The monaural analog records included in this box set were released as a second edition in response to criticism about the sound quality of the initially released black-belt monaural LPs. These records, known for their distinctive red belts, were digitally remastered for this collection.
The sound quality, as expected, has significantly improved, and the limited edition red wax release quickly disappeared from the market. Even today, these analog records are highly sought after in auctions, commanding premium prices.
This collection faithfully reproduces the natural sound of the Beatles, capturing the essence of their original monaural recordings. It includes their debut album and extends up to their 10th album, "Yellow Submarine."
