JAS GROVE & SONS, HALESOWEN

2 BLACK RESIN NAVY POLICE / MILITARY BUTTON

These are vintage collectable used items. They are black resin buttons with fixed brass loop shanks. They measure approximately 1” diameter (one is slightly smaller) and back marked JAS GROVE & SONS - HALESOWEN. I have been unable to date or attribute them accurately to any organisation but it has been suggested that one is a Navy Police button and the other may be from a Royal Household livery. But if you know otherwise! Both are of good appearance, but has friction rubbing on parts of its reverse. The photo illustrates the buttons you will receive. My price includes FREE P&P to mainland UK Post Codes and your items will be protectively and appropriately packaged and promptly mailed from mainland UK.

Jas Grove & Sons of Halesowen were the largest button manufacturer in Britain. They began manufacturing buttons in 1857 and continued as a family business until 2012. The company supplied many uniform buttons to organisations such as Ministry of Defence, British Railways, Post Office and prestige fashion brands.
