Wiring Description: It is widely used for qualitative measurement of rain and snow in environment, greenhouse, aquaculture, buildings, etc.
The voltage power input can be 10~30V. When connecting 485 signal lines, note that the two lines A/B shall not be reversed, and the addresses of multiple devices on the bus shall not conflict.

1) The computer has multiple COM ports, and the selected port is incorrect. The device cannot be connected to the PLC or computer. Possible causes:
2) The device address is incorrect, or there are devices with duplicate addresses (factory default is all 1).
3) Baud rate, check mode, data bit, stop bit error.
4) The polling interval and waiting time for response of the host are too short, which should be set above 200ms.
5) 485 bus is disconnected, or A and B lines are connected reversely.
6) If the number of equipment is too large or the wiring is too long, power shall be supplied nearby, 485 intensifiers shall be added, and 120 Ω terminal resistance shall be added at the same time.
7) The USB to 485 drive is not installed or damaged.
8) Equipment damage.

Description of Alarm Reset Delay Setting
If this value is set to 10S, the device will not consider that it has detected rain and snow and output alarm status until the duration of rain and snow detection exceeds 10S; if the duration of rain and snow detection is less than 10S, the device will consider that it has not detected rain and snow; The same is true when rain and snow return to normal.
Default value: 1 second
Range: 0~60000 seconds
Sensitivity Setting Description
The sensitivity value is inversely proportional to the actual sensitivity. That is, the larger the setting value is, the less sensitive the equipment is to detect, and the smaller the sensitivity value is, the more sensitive the equipment is to detect. However, it should be noted that the sensitivity value is too small, which is easy to cause false alarms. It is recommended to use the factory default value.

RTU communication protocol is adopted, and the format is as follows:
Time of initial structure ≥ 4 bytes
Address code=1 byte
Function code=1 byte
Data area=N bytes
Error check=16 bit CRC code
Time to end structure ≥ 4 bytes
Address code: the address of the transmitter, which is unique in the communication network (factory default 0x01).
Function code: the instruction function indication sent by the host. This transmitter only uses function codes 0x03 and 0x06.
Data area: The data area is specific communication data. Note that the high byte of 16bits data comes first!
CRC code: two byte check code.
