Up for auction is an old and original IDEALE Professionnel 59 saddle from the late 50s or early 60s. The preowner built his bike in 1959 or 1960, so my assuption is that the saddle is also that old.
There is a "59" and "Duralumin Metal de la Cegedur " marking on the rails.
Condition is good with regular signs of use and age. No tears, regular scratches and marks and a nice patina. Please see pics. Still a very useable and stable saddle. The steel screws on the clamps show oxidation. The color is between brown and black.

Shipping
I am located in Vienna, Austria, EU and ship from here. Although all parcels go by airmail, sometimes it can take a bit longer than expected. An average parcel, e.g. to the USA, takes about 20 business days to arrive. Sometimes it can also take 6-8 weeks. There are customs and security checks involved that sometimes delay the shipment.
Especially smaller parcels (up to 1kg), get in many cases upgraded at my costs to priority parcel mail (depends on the weight and destination). Still there is no guaranteed shipping time.
Carriers I use are the Austrian Post, DHL (large parcels) and sometimes smaller carriers like Hermes and GLS. In your country the parcels will be delivered with a local carrier (e.g. USPS in the USA).
