What looks like a Chinese Silver Napkin Ring.

It has a tiny maker's(?) mark inside.

The wife of a friend of mine who is Chinese assures me this mark is NOT CHINESE. Does anyone know in what the mark means?

It is 3.3 cm X 4.6 cm in diameter - though it not perfectly round - and weighs 26 gm

I have now had this tested by a reputable bullion dealer who says it is .800 silver
