It can be widely used in aerospace, shipbuilding, household appliances, machine tools, communications, automobile, mining, automation and control.
Tips on how to choose a solid state relay model:
- Equipment current ÷ Coefficient = current of the selected model ( Coefficient: resistive load is 2, inductive load is 6 )
- Resistive load: electric heating, incandescent lamp, resistance, etc.
- Inductive loads: motors, transformers, capacitors, solenoid valves, air conditioners, lighting with inductance, etc.
- Example A: A heater with a rated current of 15A, and the heater is a resistive load, then according to the formula: 15A x 2 = 30A, you should choose to buy a 40A solid state relay.
- Example B: A motor with a rated current of 15A, and the motor is an inductive load, then according to the formula: 15A x 6 = 90A, you should choose to buy a 100A solid state relay.
Note: The solid state relay generates a lot of heat. When the load current is greater than 10A, it needs to be used with a radiator. Between the bottom plate of the solid state relay and the radiator should be coated with thermal grease. When the load current is greater than 60A, a fan needs to be used to cooling and heat dissipation.
