Thanks to the 3-point harness, the Lumbamed® stable back orthosis causes the lumbar spine to be straightened (delordosis). Chronic pain conditions that radiate from the spine into the lumbar spine area (lumbosacral area) can be alleviated by relieving the pressure on the affected intervertebral disc. Tension straps support abdominal compression and lift the lower abdomen - the circular pressure can be adjusted individually. A reduction in back pain is also possible thanks to the compressive effect of the elastic material and the massage effect of the pad. Lumbamed® stable also impresses with its effortless application thanks to the hand straps on both sides.

Lumbamed® stable is used for indications that require partial relief of the lumbar spine (lumbar spine) through delordosis. These include, for example:

• Back pain in the lumbar spine area (lumbalgia)
• Pain in the lower back that radiates down one leg (lumbar sciatica)
• Narrowing of the spinal canal (lumbar spinal canal stenosis)
• muscular imbalance (imbalance) in the lumbar area
• Spinal slip (spondylolisthesis)
• wear-related complaints (spondylosis)
• Pain in the lumbar spine and sacrum area (lumbosacral junction)
• Disc bulge (intervertebral disc protrusion) or herniated disc (intervertebral disc prolapse)

The pressure of Lumbamed® stable can be continuously adjusted to the course of therapy using adjustable tension elements. The back orthosis is available in two back heights (26 and 32 centimeters).
