 Wonderful enamel on copper plaque by Locust Valley, New York artist and jewelry designer Kay (Kaye) Denning.

Exceptional enamel work!

Backside of wooden backer board is handsigned by Denning, as shown. Also retains an original note by the previous owner, stating that this piece is titled "Variation in Blue Enamel" and was purchased from the artist in 1955.

Enamel is on copper, and mounted to a steel plate, and framed in steel. Measures 12 3/4" x 9 1/2" and quite heavy, weighing nearly 4 pounds, before packing.

Displays beautifully, and in excellent condition, with absolutely no chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines, crazing, stains, or repairs.

GUARANTEED TO BE VINTAGE circa-1950's, and NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION.
