Lot of C4 Corvette Power Antenna & Related Repair Maintenance Topics Magazine Q&A Internet Info

(Check my other listing for amplifier with repair parts and repair information.)

During my 19 year ownership of a 1988 C4 Coupe, I collected a ton of maintenance and repair articles for my use and for my Corvette Club.  Now that I upgraded, rather than discarding this info, I’m selling the papers for others to use.

This lot is 32 pages related to the power antenna and poor radio reception.  There are 2 wiring diagrams from the ’88 GM Service Manual, 5 Corvette magazine Questions & Answers, 3 other articles from Corvette magazines, and 7 items I copied from the internet or received elsewhere.

If your C4 Corvette is different from my ’88, some of these may not apply.

My index of topics:

                     Service Manual Wiring Diagrams

See 9A - Static During Antenna Operation

                     Power Antenna Replacement (6)

                     Antenna Repair (2)

                     Antenna Will Not Retract (2)

                     Mast Lubrication and Replacement

                     Poor Reception - Mast Checkout

                     Antenna Bypass Switch

Ground Plane Information – NOTE – this was by far the best thing I did to my ’88 to improve reception.  I got a copy from Corvette genius Gordon Killebrew during Corvettes at Carlisle.  This simple addition of a ground plane greatly improved my radio reception.

Also included is a very informative 22 page C4 Restoration and Maintenance Workshop handout by Chris Petris.  Covers a wide range of topics, like general maintenance, cooling, charging, and ignition systems, lots on fuel injection and throttle body service, transmission, differential, brakes, driveline, suspension, ECM troubleshooting, many engine related testing.
