4Kg Canadian Grown Black Soldier Fly Larvae High Calcium Chicken Treat

These are 100% Canada Grown

Dried Black Soldier Fly larvae. Our sustainably fed mealworms are high in calcium and essential fatty acids, making them a nutritious and delicious treat for your flock!

Chubby Dried Black Soldier Fly Larvae are comparable to dried mealworms but have a much higher calcium value.

Research has shown that natural feed with balanced Ca:P ratios (a perfect treat for hedgehogs) increases animal health and contributes to stronger bones and shiny feathers.

Calcium is especially important for laying birds such as chickens. Lack of calcium can result in poor laying, and soft shells and can cause behavior problems such as egg eating.

Feeding BSF Larvae as a treat is an excellent way to increase these vital nutrients and we can assure you, that they will soon become a favorite!

Black Soldier Fly Larvae have many branded names such as Calci Worms, Phoenix Worms®, Soldier Grubs®, Flygrubs®, Grubblies®, Nutriworms®, Tasty Grubs®
But are all the larvae of the black soldier fly®(Hermetia illucens), we'll just keep things simple and call them what they are :)
