Original Great War officers service dress jacket, circa 1916/17 Royal Engineers.

Complete with full set of insignia and Lieutenant pips. Once again this looks to be an ex cuff ranker and also bears some light evidence of its removal. ‘Hawkes & Co’ tailors label remains inside the back collar, the lack of a number on the area code also indicates pre-1917 manufacture. Unfortunately the name is not clear. Interior is only half lined, as is common with British tailors of the period.

Condition is very good overall with some minor moth nips, though there is some discolouration to the lining under the arm pits. There is bobbling under the armpits as is unfortunately rather common.
