Story stamped in the back explains the buckle design elements.

Design includes:

* Buffalo skulls

* Train engine no 7

* High school

* Log cabin with a "40" sign representing the $40k in bonds originally given by the state

* A bridge across the river

Approximately;

3.25" long x 2 3/8" wide

Loop for belt is approx. 1 7/8" wide at the widest point.
