A vintage print of a German WW2 Messerschmitt BF 109 E aircraft produced for Shell/BP in 1969 and signed Basil within the print plate.  

Framed and mounted behind glass, measures 21 inches x 17 in total, image size 15 x 11.5 inches. 

The aircraft shown is being flown by Oberleutnant  Gunter Bodie of 1 Gruppe Adjudant of JG 27 , based at Etaples, France.Luftflotte 2. It was shot down at Mayfield , Sussex on 9.9. 1940.

In good condition, minor wear to frame and minor rippling to paper barely seen. 

Rare item, has been unframed in storage for over 50 years, good luck.
