The latest pair to have received the “reimagined” treatment is the Air Jordan 3, with early images of a modernised version of the AJ3 “White Cement” having recently appeared on social media. This pair has also received a pre-aged treatment, so let’s take a closer look at what we can expect from them. Working on top of Tinker Hatfield’s 1988 silhouette, the “Reimagined” Jordan 3 spares the cracked leather that we saw on the AJ1, instead opting for soft, tumbled leather uppers and “Sail”-hued midsoles to achieve the vintage look. Cement-print overlays wrap their way around the heels and toe tips, which take on a thinner appearance that’s more in line with the original pair. Finally, the pair swaps out the 3’s Jordan heel branding for the Nike Air branding, while orange Nike hangtags and a special-edition box round out the pair’s presentation.
