Kennedy Half Dollar (post-1970, no silver) in one-of-a-kind display.  The circulated half dollar is in a clear plastic case which can be opened.  From old private collection.

The Porthole Display is a reference to JFK’s service as Captain of PT-109 in World War II

Marbled resin; each display has its own unique pattern. Each piece machined and finished by the artist.

Assembled as shown with brass hardware. Screws secure the porthole dogs; rotate to remove coin

Angled supports elevate the display for enhanced viewing. Removable, allowing display to be mounted on a flat surface, wall, or bulkhead. The design of the supports is a reference to maritime structural components.
