This is a first-generation COPY of a second season script from the MASH TV series (not a transcript or Photoshop recreation). The original 1973 script was used by veteran actress Kathleen Hughes playing Lorraine Blake, the beautiful wife of Lt. Col. Henry Blake (McLean Stevenson), in a touching and hilarious home movie. It’s the only time we see Blake’s often referenced spouse. On the front of the script, Hughes listed wardrobe choices to bring with her for the shoot.  A copy of her script is being offered here.

In the memorable "Dear Dad…Three"  episode, Hawkeye (Alan Alda) pens another letter to his father during a 'typical' day at the 4077th. In one segment, Hawkeye and Trapper (Wayne Rogers) teach a racist white patient a lesson and tell him the story of Dr. Charles Drew, who developed the process for preserving blood plasma.

The rest of the classic sitcom cast includes Gary Burghoff, Loretta Swit, Larry Linville, Jamie Farr, and William Christopher.

The script's cover has been reproduced in color and a sheet of acetate is included to keep it looking pristine (to be honest, this copy looks better than the original). The script pages are printed on one side. Great care has been taken to make this a piece that a TV collector will be proud to own and display. Let me know if this is a present and I will put the script in a gift bag and attach a blank note card (see photo).
