An antique Japanese Meiji Era (c1880) cloisonné vase with a blue dragon.

This is a beautiful antique Japanese Meiji era (c. 1870-90's) ornate cloisonné vase. The hand crafted decorations are of a blue dragon coiling on a solid black backgorund. It is a fine example of earlier Meiji era Japanese craftsmanship.

The vase measures at 5 7/8" tall by 3" in diameter (15 x 7.5 c m). It weighs 7.5 ounces.
