Note: - Near-infrared light, is beyond what the human eye can see, but most camera sensors can detect it, color camera in daylight without an IR-cut filter will therefore see a significant amount of infrared light resulting in strange colors. With a Mechanical IR-Cut filter switch, during the day this camera uses an IR-cut filter. IR light is filtered out so that it does not distort the colors of images as the human eye sees them. When the camera is in night (black and white) mode, built in IR illuminator active, the IR-cut filter is removed, allowing the camera detect infrared light reflect from the object.
- The camera adopts innovative DPS (Digital Pixel System) image sensor and image processing technology. The sensor picks up details from each pixel based on hundreds of samples per video frame. Compared with CCD's limited exposures, DPS image sensor is probably better than analog CCD to ensure wider dynamic range.
