This is the dispersion of the Alexander collection. This Languedoc native spent a large part of his career in Africa, in particular in Benin and Ivory Coast between 1974 and 1985 then in Central Africa (Congo, Zaire, Sudan) between 1986 and 1989. Passionate about African history, he patiently brought together authentic objects, linked to spirituality and rites.
All these objects come from villages where he stayed and linked, over time, intellectual and passionate collusion with local land chiefs.
