“Melanie” figurine by Summit Glass, the color is Paradise Orchid. This color is a pale lilac with creamy white slag running through it. The slag is UV reactive and glows nicely under a black light, with a lacey green glow. It is a very petty piece, marked on the back with the Summit “V” in a circle and “SB” - the initials of the person who named the figure.

The Melanie mould was designed by Tom Mosser, and these pieces were pressed for Summit by Mosser glass. I have been told that the mould was destroyed after the series was run, never to be used again.

This piece is in excellent used condition, with no cracks or chips. The green you may see in a couple of photos is a label with the color name. From a nonsmoking home. Please look at all the photos and ask questions before biding or buying.
