Sculpture was purchased in its current condition. It appears that the enamel was chipped and perhaps the repair was to even out the chipped portion and then fill it in with a black marker. This would be my best guess and am not sure of a different repair. No other issues were noted. Should you want additional pictures or have other questions, let me know.
