A gorgeous wrap silk skirt hand embroidered with golden and silver metallic / tinsel thread. It is a rectangular entire handwoven piece which will be fixed around your waist with a needle. 

Size: 120 cm long x 78 cm tall or 47, 24 inches long x 31 inches wide. . 

Age:  80 -100 years old. 

Condition: good condition. The black background is slightly discolored due to the skirts age. It is a gorgeous wrap silk skirt originated from Muntenia , extremely hard to find.

In the past time , those skirts was displayed on the walls in the best room of the house to impress the guests .It was worn only Sundays at church or at highest ceremonies .It was a sign of the social status .
