This is a beautifully designed 2" x 3 1/2" card with color images of the mission patch for flight STS-109 and an emblem of the Space Shuttle Program. Attached to the card is an authentic 3/8" x 5/8" piece of white payload bay liner that was flown in space as part of Space Shuttle Columbia during the STS-109 mission in 2002. It was during this mission that the repair to the Hubble Space Telescope was accomplished.
This piece of payload bay liner spent 10 days, 22 hours, 11 minutes and 9 seconds in space orbiting the earth.
STS-109 was the last flight of Columbia before the STS-107 disaster.
